Donation to the Louisiana Fallen Firefighters Memorial 4/20/2016
On April 20th, The LFSA donated $2,500 to the Louisiana Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Baton Rouge, to build a canopy to cover their existing stage, which last year we donated $5,000 to help build the stage.

LFSA presents plaque to Linda Burch on August 27, 2014
Recently, the LFSA Board of Directors presented Linda Burch with an appreciation plaque for her collaboration with the LFSA in supporting the Fire Sprinkler Industry. The LFSA has worked with Linda Burch for many years and we will truly miss her when she retires from the State

LFSA Board members Linda Biernacki, Richard Booth, David Sisolak, Nick Spano and Clayton Norred were in attendance along with State Fire Marshal Butch Browning, Chief Architect Joe Delaune, Assistant Chief Felicia Cooper and retired Fire Chief V.J. Bella.

2013 LFSA 7th Annual Golf Classic Benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
November 6, 2013 – This year’s Golf Classic was held at the Santa Maria Golf Course in Baton Rouge, LA. This annual event is held in memory of Brad Bella and raises money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We are very excited to report that we surpassed our goal and raised $16,000 for this great cause. A big Thank You goes out to all the sponsors and players who helped raise the funds. It was an enjoyable day for all, bringing together LFSA members, contractors, suppliers, fabricators, architects and engineers.

October 22, 2013 - LA State Fire Marshal Butch Browning & V.J. Bella cooked up a pot of Yummy Jambalaya for the LFSA Networking Lunch and Meeting. Thanks for a great meal!!! We aslo had a Fire Sprinkler Plan Review Seminar for Architects, Engineers & AHJ’s taught by Ken Wagoner.

2013 Center for Public Safety Excellence Awards Ceremony
August 15, 2013 - Fire Tech Systems, Inc. from Shreveport, LA and two other companies become accredited by the Center for Public Safety Excellence as an Accredited Residential Fire Sprinkler Contractor. The three companies offering residential and commercial fire sprinkler installation received the accreditation for successfully completing the beta test phase of the Residential Fire Sprinkler Accreditation Program (ReFSCAP) and they received their plaques during the CPSE Awards Ceremony on August 15, 2103 in Chicago. The other two Companies to receive Accreditation are: USA Fire Protection, Lake Forrest, IL and Standard Automatic Fire Enterprise (SAFE), College Station, TX

2013 Louisiana Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony
March 9, 2013 - Retired State Fire Marshal V.J. Bella was honored for creating the Louisiana Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial and was presented “A Visionary Leader” Award. The event was sponsored by Louisiana Fire Sprinkler Association.
2012 LFSA 6th Annual Golf Classic Benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
November 7, 2012 - The event benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in memory of Brad Bella was held at the Santa Maria Golf Course in Baton Rouge, La. The day of the tournament we raised $10,500 with another $1,500 coming in later for a total of $12,000 donation to the JDRF. It was a fun day for all with many contractors, suppliers, fabricators, architects and engineers coming together for a great cause.
